We made it to Talkeenta, Alaska. Robby and Cal are a few drinks in and having a great time. Iva and I need to catch up but we are busy doing laundry. We are having a great time. We did a little fishing this morning on the drive in but did not have any luck. Talkeenta is a town of 853 people. We walked into town this afternoon and did some shopping and drinking of local beer. Wes is adjusting. It has not been easy but he is a trooper. Plus the portable DVD player is a lifesaver.
We will be heading out in the morning to Denali. Can't wait to see it! We are taking off now to hike up the road to try and see Mt. Mckinley.
